Hey everyone,

We are very pleased to introduce a brand new feature to TOTW! The feature is called playlists.

Playlists allow you to create as many different lists of content as you want and easily go through all the content on that list. You can create as many playlists as you want, and each playlist can contain as many games, videos, and Flash movies as you would like. The great thing is you can have any of the three different content types on a list so you can easily go through all the content you want.

To check out this new feature, you need a free TOTW account. Once you create an account and log in, you can create a new playlist by going to “My account” on the top the page, click “manage playlists” and click “create new playlist”, or by clicking here if you are logged in. Once you create a playlist, you can easily add content to it by simply clicking “add to playlist” on any content details page.

After a number of months in production, Top of the Web (TOTW) is finally here!

The first thing we want to do is make sure everyone has a thorough understanding of what TOTW is and what we offer. Each week, about 35 pieces of brand new content are added to the site. These new pieces of content include games, videos, and Flash movies. Users are encouraged to rate each piece of content on a scale from 1-5. At the end of each week, the 5 pieces of content with the highest scores become top of the web and are featured on the TOTW homepage. But there’s more… Each week, we make a summary video that recaps the top 5 pieces of content and gives a summary of all 5 in about 2 minutes. This allows you to see what the top 5 is all about without actually viewing the content. This allows you to spend time viewing the content that you actually are interested in.

We encourage our users to submit content they’ve created or have found around the web. We post content that we like from around the web and value user submissions.

You can always check out the newest content crowned top of the web for the previous week at the top of the TOTW homepage. You can go here to check out the most recently added content.

If you’d like a great way to keep up with the newly added content, check out the RSS feeds we offer here. These feeds allow you to add a live bookmark to TOTW in your browser and you can be instantly updated when we add new content.

We would love feedback on how to improve TOTW or things you’d like to see us do with it. You can head over to the forum to give us some feedback and talk with other users.
